I love Karou, but I dislike Madrigal. Does that even make any sense? No? Ugh, then I guess that's the reason I deducted 1 star. The whole flashback at the last chapters ruined my feels; instead, it gave me a headache, literally. And now, I am currently delaying my read for the second book. Oh lastly, Akiva's insta-love case and extreme emotions didn't help. Fudge, this is probably one of the few books with a love interest I don't like. Meh. I'd rather really Karou hate him till the series comes to an end.
