I'm sorry but the book was just so-so for me. Even the deemed surprising plot twist was not a plot twist for me at all. Maybe I've watched way too many slasher, thriller and psychological films that upon reading the blurb of the book, I've already formulated a theory regarding possible twists. And well, yes, it was too predictable for me.

As for the creepiness, maybe I wasn't just feeling it because the only scene that scared me was when Zoe was on Cara's mother's room. The rest was either just okay and then displeasing. There was no in between.
