I still have doubts on whether the rating should be a star less or if I should just shut up and stick with 5.
In the first book, I never felt even a pinch of sadness. Sure, Mia's life has gone all tragic, but the book did not make me care. As for this one, I am on Adam's side -- all the time. His feelings of hurt suffocated me; it was totally unfair. I find Mia's reasons for the breakup NOT ENOUGH.
Also, maybe the lyrics contributed to my extreme liking for this book. Part of me was and still is hoping Collateral Damage gets to be recorded, produced. Sigh.
