Edit: Only came to notice that there weren't any strikethroughs. Character development indeed accomplished!
--4 stars mainly because of Warner, Kenji and Juliette becoming a less annoying protagonist.
Really tempted to give this 5 stars, my reading enjoyment put into consideration. But also conflicted to give it 3.5 stars due to the following reasons:
-I was never team Adam, but the change in his character bothered me so much. It was over the top. It's as if Tahereh did that just to justify why Juliette should pick Warner. Can't we just get two likeable guys in a triangle like the Legend series?
-Disappointed at the lack of action (then again, since when was there any action scenes in the series? lol)
-The battle was rushed and was anticlimactic.
-The many unanswered questions I have regarding other characters, (Maybe the excuse is since the series is about Juliette, those unresolved back stories are not hers to tell? IDK)
-The ending was just okay (sort of) because of Warner's appearance, to be honest.
I hope Tahereh releases a novella for an epilogue. I think that would be fitting since it ended abruptly. I need more closure. I need more.
